Next up, fans are treated to 20 minutes worth of animated storyboards. If you're a fan, it's well worth checking out. Goodies include a surprisingly informative documentary titled "Your Power Combined." Running just a little shy of 30 minutes, this retrospective piece is loaded with interviews from the voice cast and other folks behind the series. Kudos to Shout! Factory for putting this set together. They include: "A Hero for Earth," "Rain of Terror," "Beast of the Temple," "Skumm Lord," "Deadly Ransom," "The Conqueror," "The Last of Her Kind," "The Dead Seas," "Tree of Life," "Volcano's Wrath," "Littlest Planeteer," "A World Below Us," "Plunder Dam," "Meltdown Syndrome," "Smog Hog," "Polluting by Computer," "Don't Drink the Water," "Kwame's Crisis," "The Ozone Hole," "The Ultimate Pollution," "Population Bomb," "Mission to Save Earth (1-2)," "Two Futures (1-2)," and "Heat Wave."Įxtras on this set are far better than what I would have expected for a series like this. Captain Planet and the Planeteers - Season One includes all 26 episodes of the show's first season. That said, if you're one of a few remaining "Planeteers," this set was made for you. There are moments that work, here and there, but Captain Planet is best left to your memory. And that's all Captain Planet is – it's one long educational message pretending to be a compelling action-orientated kid's series. Kids don't mind the occasional educational message, but when the subtext becomes text, it's just not any fun. ![]() But then he started preaching about going to school, eating healthy and doing your homework and it all kind of fell apart. ![]() Hammer was totally cool for a while, highlighting the soundtrack to the first Ninja Turtles movies, and getting everyone addicted to "Hammer" pants and silly dance moves. The show sort of reminds me of the rise and fall M.C.
